Real-time pitch correction — lock any vocal to a key and scale
What it is
PitchLock is an iOS and Mac AUv3 plugin for real-time vocal pitch correction. A low-latency YIN-based engine detects the incoming pitch and locks the voice to any key and scale — 54 of them, from chromatic to exotic — with retune speed from subtle shaping to a hard snap. Humanize relaxes correction on held notes to keep vibrato natural, formant tone and dry/wet shape the result, and a built-in tuner shows the detected note, target note, and cents offset. The container app includes a live microphone preview for checking settings without a host.

Natural or aggressive — your call
PitchLock gives you continuous control over correction intensity. Dial the retune speed low for transparent pitch shaping that preserves natural vocal phrasing, or crank it for the signature hard-tuned sound. Humanize relaxes correction on held notes so vibrato survives aggressive settings, and the formant tone control keeps the vocal character intact either way.
Key-aware correction
Pick a key and a scale — 54 of them, from chromatic to exotic — and the detector locks to the closest in-key note. Chromatic mode is also available for atonal material or when you want the performer's intended pitch through with only minor adjustments. Both key and scale are exposed as host parameters, so you can automate them or map them to a MIDI controller.
See what the detector sees
A built-in tuner shows the detected note, the target note, and the cents offset while you sing, so you can tell the difference between a wrong note and a correction that has not caught up yet. The interface adapts from a compact AUM slot to a full-screen iPad layout.

Like the rest of the AUv3 lineup, PitchLock runs inside your host as an Audio Unit extension — drop it on a vocal track in Logic Pro, AUM, GarageBand, Cubasis, or Loopy Pro. The container app includes a live microphone preview for checking settings without a host.
